Salt Spring Island Bread Company
Welcome to the Salt Spring Island Bread Co. where handmade organic artisan baked goods are produced at the island’s original wood-fired brick oven bakery. Established in 1994, the bakery is owned and operated by Heather Campbell, known locally as ‘The Bread Lady’.
Located on the south end of the island, on a sunny ridge near Ruckle Provincial Park, the bakery is open to the public for tasting and sales as a member of the Salt Spring Island Studio Tour and Heather’s breads can also be found at the popular Saturday Market in the park in Ganges, the island’s main commercial centre and harbour.
