Public Invited to the Southern Gulf Island Tour Tour des Iles Festival – June 23 to 23th

The Tour des Isles Festival (TDIF) is big and getting bigger – and we want you to be a part of it!  Our Third Annual Festival is taking place June 23, 24 and 25, 2017.  All day inter-island small boat service will connect you to Galiano, Mayne, Pender, Salt Spring and Saturna Islands, which are located in beautiful British Columbia’s Salish Sea.

Courtesy shuttles, with knowledgeable and friendly local drivers, will take passengers to island attractions, such as art galleries, markets, and natural wonders.

Combining art, music, food, outdoor recreation and each island’s unique cultural activities, TDIF is the one of the fastest growing Festivals on the islands, and lets islanders and visitors alike see up close what makes the Southern Gulf Islands a world-renowned tourist destination.

“This is a wonderful festival!” says Elizabeth May, M.P. for Sannich and the Southern Gulf Islands.  “In this, the 150th year since Canada was recognized as an independent nation on traditional and unceded indigenous lands, I can think of no better way than to celebrate in the natural beauty of the Southern Gulf Islands.  I hope to see you all there!”

In previous years, thousands of trips were taken by people who took advantage of this chance to enjoy each island’s warmth and charm at their own pace.  To enjoy the TDIF, you will pay a small $5.00 fee one way per trip and a festival pass may also be available to purchase.
